    First Honduran Milksnake

Is there a trick to holding these little buggers. I just got my first milksnake and he is sooo tiny and fast it is very hard to even hold him. He is such a squirmy worm.

I thought maybe there was some special technique to it

Hold on tight! I've got an adult that still won't settle down. He won't bite, but he is constantly trying to escape, which makes him impossible to handle.

    Hold on tight

As he will grow it will get easier, he will settle down, move a little slower and you will be able to let him slither through your hands.

    Re: First Honduran Milksnake

You should have seen my face when I first picked him up yesterday - I was shocked at how hard to hold onto he was. I only have experience with bp's who are soooo slow compared to the milks.

I'm terrified of him getting out of my hands and then getting lost - yikes!!!

He's cute as a button though
