My cousin has a 15ft burmese python (which are illegal here in Florida)

The zoo probably gets calls everyday from people that dont know how to properly take care of these animals. Thats probably why they have not called you back. Its a zoo not a humane society they can only take on so many animals. However being in florida they should be able to point you in the direction of some place to take it. I hope for the burms sake you find it a new home asap.

Agreed, I work for a public aquarium and we get calls all day long from people who have pets they want to donate.

it wasn't that we couldn't take care of her, it's just that
a) we legally can't have her
b) we have a baby in the house, when I was a baby/toddler (she's been alive longer than I have been) I wasn't allowed in that room and we eventually moved out of the house because my mom was terrified to have us in the same house as her
she was like one of the family and I think she's the main reason I love reptiles so much

So you have an over 27 foot dining room....ok...
