Stressed by head wobble

i have a killerbee with a bad wobble she sumtimes will take 20 mins to find the head of the rat after constricting it or eat it backwards and shell even sometimes just leave it and ill have to hit it with the blow dryer again and normally the second time she bites and constricts she eats it.

i see one problem u have...u just have one hide u should have one on the cool side and one on the hot side..and maybe try blacken out the sides and back of the tank that helped me with one of my own problem eaters..

Thanks for the advice, I left her prey from last night in the tank with her after presenting it to her three times. She bit and constricted three times. And yet the mouse is still in there this morning. ugh

I am working on making a water hide for her, a blacked out rubbermaid shoebox. with a few openings.
I think I may contact the breeder about it soon, I may even try live if I have to.
How long can a two month old go without food????

How big is the mouse ... the shoebox should only have one way in and out not so many openings that stresses them out...they like to feel secure so i would not go to big with the shoebox...and if u have the phone number to the guy u bought her from ask what he was feeding and what size prey and how did he feed her..he won't mind the phone call he will be more than happy to help...

Figured out her issue..... I was feeding her hoppers....she wanted fuzzies. She has eaten everything i have given her since. She has downed a bunch of fuzzies. Guess she just wanted a smaller meal! Thanks for the help!

You said you were feeding mice, correct? Mouse fuzzies are extremely small for any ball python. Even hoppers are a very small meal. How many are you feeding her at a time and how much does she weigh?

I know they are small but she wont eat anything bigger..... She strikes and constricts and then does not eat it..... I feed her a few fuzzies a week.

Have you tried african soft furs?

My bee has the same wobble and like it is mentioned above, Spiders do have wobble. But a Bee is a morph of a spider so same gene It is high likely for the wobble to be passed.
