You guys absolutely wouldn't be the first people to get a subtle morph from Petsmart/Petco. I have a friend who breeds and he has a female BP from Petsmart that he bought because he thought it looked very similar to a yellowbelly (has the arrow on the head and HEAVY flames, but not a lot of belly speckles).
Well, he was right! He just hatched a clutch from her (YB x YB) with two yellowbellys, one normal, and two ivory.
Bottom line. It never hurts to ask to hold the snakes at these stores. You may get a cool prize!
