That actually hadnt even crossed my mind. If I switched to having two under tank heaters(thermostat controlled) than the middle area would be their respective cool ends no? Though if that were the case It may just be more worth it to use two 55g tanks instead. Its the same amount of technology and wouldnt take up a horrendous amount of space. My fiance is just incredibly fixated on keeping them together for some reason

Put a large heat pad in the middle, where your divider would be.Though if that were the case It may just be more worth it to use two 55g tanks instead.
