    Here is a copy of the email that I sent, and his response.


    Mr. Dipaolo:

    I read your article this morning regrding the escaped boa constictor. In your article you referenced another story where a 2 year old child in Orlando was killed. That child was killed by a burmese python, not a boa constrictor.

    Being a reporter I would think you would have your facts straight before printing a news article.

    The boa constrictor in question that is "on the loose" only eats prey the size of rabbits, so unless people are leaving their newborn infants, and very small dogs unattended there isn't much to worry about. My concern is for the poor animal that has escaped it's enclosure, and the harm that may come to it because of someones irrational fears propagated by the media.
