    Curious

So I just got my first ball python yesterday. She seems to be adapting really well with her new cage and is already in the hide. How often can i play with her?? She'a 6 weeks old.

I'd wait at least a week before even thinking about handling her. How exactly do you "play" with a snake? lol

My husband "plays" with my snakes by pushing their heads down over and over, laughing at how persistent they are in raising their heads up.

Well I meant handle her. She is so adorable and irresistable. So I just wanna hold her. I have held her i can see her breathing but i dont think she's stressed. She doesnt ball up or anything she just tries to explore everything.

I'd still wait a week. You'll have her for the next 20-30 years if she's taken care of properly. I don't think handling the first week is worth the potential stress it could cause. Congrats on your new snake! Have you checked out the caresheet here?
