I'd probably caution against electrical tape..it's sticking ability is pretty poor in my experience and may come off. If you insist on using it, just keep an eye one it. Wouldn't want it to slip off and bake your snake because you didn't want to spring for a $4 roll of foil tape.

Electricle tape works fine in warm or hot environments if ita wrappes but when used to just tape something down.. It has a tendency toflex and shrink amd will likely come off leaving a gluey mess.. Get the foil tape.. It will likely be with the heating duct parts. As thats its main use. Because it does not dry out.. Amazing stuff.. I would not use anything else.

The probes must be secure doubly so with a dual heat set up. I also use hot melt glue. aluminum foil tape can mess up the reading on the probe quite a lot so I'd suggest electrical tape (NO tape inside the enclosure) and just refresh it every 3 or 4 cleanings.
