Everyone wants to make them because they are amazing! I am going to hold off on that project though for the same reason. Prices are going to be impacted so much because of their popularity. It's just a fire and a vanilla. You can buy a vanilla female for $300 and a nice male fire for $200, as of now a vanilla creme is running $2500-3000. I would try and do something out of the box. Maybe an Enchi?
They are definitely what's cool right now.
As stated above, you can't go wrong with an Enchi, another snake that is incredibly cool in the reptile community, hence the major increase in price for a female.
