We're an hour from the Oaks show (we went last month) and 2 hours from Hamburg (dying to go!). With the price of gas and tolls, the shipping would be about the same. Besides, if I went to the shows, I'd be coming home with more than just feeders, which defeats the whole saving money thing, lol.

I think you might have missed it but got the point all at the same time...saving the money on shipping is kind of the excuse to go and buy other things 
I have yet to leave a show without something alive with every intention of just going for supplies!
