Black and Yellow - Black and Yellow

Here's some "Black and Yellow" for you Just updated shots this afternoon. Both pretty fresh out of shed. My Lemon Blast girl is @ 775g and my Pastel Yellow Belly boy at 788g. I can't see how people can't appreciate PYB. Maybe this thread can convert them? I was worried the flames on him might light my dry grass on fire

    Pastel Yellow Belly male

    Lemon Blast female

    Thanks for looking!

    Regards,

    B

Aside from their beautiful color, there is nothing as pleasing to look at than very healthy snakes :-) They look Plumped! :-)

    Nice!

I'm already a huge fan of the PYB as I absolutely love mine and yours is a very nice example as well. And your Pastel Pinstripe is really nice....just might convert me with that one.

I was being slightly sarcastic but I'm glad someone appreciated it. People ignorantly, in my opinion, don't realize exactly how strong the YB gene is. I think it is nice in its own right but combine that with other things and it just pops.

Lemon Blast are hit or miss with me. I'm not a huge fan of pinstripes because of their adult coloration but I actually got to see some adult Lemon Blasts that the gentleman I purchased mine from produced. Once I saw they retained the bright coloration into adulthood, it was an easy decision. The problem I have with a lot of the stuff on the market is the subpar quality. A lot of people rush to produce whatever and the results are dissappointing. There's a flood of cheap single and two gene animals that artifically decrease the market and introduce animals whose breedings had almost no thought put into them besides dollar signs. </rant> Meh... I'll hope off my soap box now. LOL.

Thanks for all the kind words!

    Regards,

    B

I agree completely on the yellowbelly, which is why I picked up my female this week (at some point I'll get around to taking pictures). She will be paired with my male firefly in a few years, so hopefully I'll be able to produce a PYB or two, but yours is a knockout certainly. Good periscoping instincts as well.

    Thanks for the post.
