Ok... from taking a closer look at the rat from the link and the pic you have here... mine has pink eyes. To me all 3 look red. So if that is pink, what does red or ruby look like? A "Pink" eyed white's eyes are not really a pink color, more bright red. A Red eyed rat has dark red eyes, kinda maroon.
Also the rat in the picture at http://fancyrats.pbworks.com/w/page/8715181/Champagne (correct me if I'm wrong) has pink eyes.
Hard to tell from your pics but your suspected Champ look like it has pink eyes to me.oiy!
Both were from another breeder, who basically set up a grab-bag to choose from.
