Anyone tell me if this female sick or normal????

Last one is tough but she kept backing into the corner and I have been checking underneath them but still can't tell.

Cool rats, especially the double rex.

Think of it like a pastel X pastel making 1/4 super pastels that when bred to a normal will make all pastels.

Rex X Rex makes 25% standard coat, 50% rex coat and 25% double rex.
Breeding a double rex to a standard coat will make 100% rex coats

But how can you tell the difference between a double rex and a true hairless? And which ones have the issues with birthing/feeding? Just curious, as I really like the rex coat... just not fond of rats without hair. And is there a combo that will NOT throw any hairless?

sorry op, don't mean to hijack your thread

There is almost always a clear distinction between double rex and true hairless. Eyelashes, are one way to tell, as well as whiskers, and double rexes almost always have fuzz.

Hairless rat females are the ones that sometimes cannot properly feed their babies,

Can't remember if I saw something on here or somewhere else, but is a pew with black eyes rare and does eye color mean anything?

There is no such thing as a pew with black eyes. A PEW is a pink eyed white. That would mean it doesn't have black eyes.
