    I believe with ball pythons, the important thing is that they're not in the light 24/7. If they're exposed to light, then it should be in a day/night cycle. But if it's dark all the time, I don't believe it causes any stress or harm.

    EDIT: Oops! Forgot to add.....Gorgeous females, Ed! Can't wait to see some spectacular babies! I especially love that lesser! She is glowing already!!
