Substrate?

I was wondering how everyone felt about using paper as a substitute for substrate. I was using cocohusk but during the summer my humidity rises too high so I switched to craft paper. Anyone have an opinions?

Craft paper will work just fine. I have used it successfully.

I like my indented kraft. Thick and absorbent, and nothing my snakes can manage to hurt themselves on. (they try)

I've been using it for years with no problems. You have to run and change it if there's so much as a wet fart, but it's not too bad.

craft paper works well. I'd shy away from paper towels as they snakes have been known to eat it with a rat and it simply cannot be past and usually needs an operation to resolve.

I never leave food in unattended for that reason.
