I would go with the BEL project. my albinos are great but they fade with age. The BEL's just get bigger and stay the same. It's also pretty cool to watch them turn pink(ish) when they eat.

Bel project all the way.......Albinos are nice and all but every one that walks into my house knows what an albino is....I love the "Wow What is that?" effect every one has when looking at a poster on my wall with the BEL. besides what you make off one bell would fund your albino project! But best of luck Ive got 20+ snakes and cant make up my mind either!

I agree with the above poster and get both Mojave and Albino females (as well as your pastel) and use your Spider male on them when they are ready. It'll end up being the same money (maybe even cheaper) because you wouldn't have to buy the Albino and Lesser males. It will take an extra season but you will have a lot more to work with.

Your Pastel will yeild the Bee's you want. Your Mojave and Spider will produce at the best Mojave Spiders, which you can then breed a male back to the Mojave and get the BEL's you want. (If you don't like the purple head BEL's, get a Lesser/Butter female instead of a Mojave) The Spider and Albino pairing will yeild at best Spiders het Albino. Breed a male back to the Albino female and get at best Albinos as well as Spider Albinos.

    Win/Win in my opinion!

But if I HAD to choose just one, I would go with the BEL project.

Thanks everyone for your opinions, I really like the BELs.

    Sugarbone,
I woke up this morning, and the lesser bee/queen bee thing slapped me right in the head. Don't know why I didn't think about that earlier. Right now, Im really leaning towards buying a fem pastel and a fem lesser. Breed my spider to both of them in a few years. When I eventually get a male lesser bee, I'll hold on to him and breed him to the pastel. I threw that combo in the morph generator and got...1/8 chance at normals, pastels, spiders, bumble bees, lessers, pastel lesser, lesser bees, and queen bees. Plus, if I get a male lesser out of the clutches somewhere, I can hold him for a year, and breed him back to the female lesser for a chance at a BEL. Good grief, I love ball pythons, somebody help me before my wife leaves me...lol.
