JungleCarpet81, who told you your snake is a coastal? Unless you got it from the breeder directly, it's quite possible that it is not labeled correctly, or is a subspecies intergrade (a mix of different subspecies, not just coastal). This has been a problem in the US, specifically because export of new blood out of Australia is illegal.

Unless you KNOW your snake is a pure coastal, it's a bad idea to label offspring from that snake (if you decide to breed it) as pure coastals.

If you have no intention of breeding it or selling it, you can call it whatever you want
