    I spray my ball python's fake plants and his substrate
    But that being said, it's not soaking wet, and within an hour it is dry but the air in the cage is still humid, as my humidity gauge says a constant 55%-60%
    I raise it to around %70- %75 for shed.

    Do you have a humidity gauge? I'd get one of those digital temperature and humidity readers if possible. They're about $20 each.
