Re: New to the Industry: How Should I Start My Breeding Colony?
Okay, so I didn't get a chance to take any pictures until today, so here they are. Please pardon my mediocre photography skills.
0.1 Normal #1
0.1 Normal #2
0.1 Pastel #1
0.1 Pastel #2
I especially like the colors on the second female pastel; the picture of her really doesn't do her justice. I think that I'll be able to get some really nice babies from her in a few years.
Yellowbellies are good to have in any breeding group. They don't look like much on their own, but they're known for REALLY tricking out other morphs when mixed in. They're pretty inexpensive, too, so you can easily pick up one to raise up. Plus, the super form is the Ivory, which are just dang pretty in their own right.

Set a man on fire, and he'll be warm for the rest of his life." ~ Terry Pratchett

The ivory morph is pretty awesome, so it looks like I need to start looking for a female yellow belly.
