Me being me, I have to curve your question.......................

Are you planning on getting more balls??
How much are you looking to spend?? (one persons "cheap" is not the same as another)

If you are planning or there is any chance of you getting more I would get a VE-200 from Reptile Basics and they will even build the flex-a-watt for you for free all you have to do is buy the parts

Nope to getting more balls. Transferring to a different college next year and it will be difficult hiding just one >.>

For the thermostat I was only looking to spend around $30. I had seen the Hydrofarm and it sparked my interest but I figured I'd ask the experienced people of BP.net before making a final decision.

I was planning on using the uth on the thermostat. What I was asking was if it would be alright to run a lower wattage bulb 24/7 and keep the uth on the thermostat to regulate temp because with my experience, anything lower than what I have now wont keep the temp high enough.
Right now I'm running a 150W Infrared Nocturnal bulb for my 24/7.

I was thinking about dropping to 50 or 75 like I had in my 10 gallon tank and keeping it on 24/7 while having a uth on a thermostat.
