I don't think the thread was what do you like better a pied or these pewters? Or did I miss that?

    I'd keep the first one.

    Honestly I'll let go both...

I dont have million balls... Why you ask??? Because I cant afford those i want...

If You keep ball pythons especially if You want to breed them... You buying or the best possible example of morph... or You buy dinkers and try win lottery

I'm proud of my Yellobelly I believe I seen only 3 better on this site (one crazy patterned owned by Sancera one owned by coldblooded and pair of dinkers YB owned by Royal Morphs)

I'm proud of my "Granite-ish" dinker and I know If She prove She will be worth gold in weight...

I like Pewters but.... this two are just around of average for that Morph... Especially looking at "vomit-ish" pattern of second one my best advice to you:

Sell them both and find One exceptional from different blood line...

That will increase your chance to produce spectacular looking snakes in future and increase genetic diversity of your breeding stock

Nice. I'm looking forward to finally proving out my Granite too. Hopefully this coming season. Got a Chocolate Pin who wants to meet her.

I actually just purchased my first ball python ever. I have kept boas, 1 corn, and a rescue ball python for years. Never really had the desire to purchase a ball python until I was at the Myrtle Beach Expo (well my husband wanted to get a ball python for himself and we are still looking for it). He told me to pick the best looking ball python baby (reasonably priced - that is $600 or less). I walked around looking and looking. I had never seen a black pewter before or pewter.

I saw these ball's labelled pewter and black pewters. Of every single ball in that whole expo, I couldn't stop thinking about those black pewters. They were just so hot! I had never seen a ball python that looked like that before. Finally, 1 hour before they closed, my husband was like, so which snake are you getting. I told him that it was probably going to be a pewter but maybe a lesser. I looked at the lessers once more. Then I looked at the pewters. Afterwards, I told him it was a no brainer. I couldn't pass up the black pewter.

The black pewter ball python was the first ball python I ever purchased and he is just so gorgeous and so awesome looking. I can't help but to go check on him all the time just to look at him.

I know many people into BP's might not find the pewters as interesting as they know more about the morphs but from a person just getting into BP's, the pewters are hot and awesome. I can't tell the difference between most BP morphs yet because to me, many look similar. I can look at the pewter and tell IMMEDIATELY that it is different and I love that.

So, my advice would be to keep the first because it looks wicked. The second is pretty but the first just looks like mine so I am partial to it.

They look great to me (you have better pics of the first so its hard to pick) but being I'm no expert on Pewters I think if you can turn those 2 into a real stunner (again, I'm no expert, just goin on what he said) and maybe somethin else while also bringin some new genes to your breeding pool I think thats your best bet......still hard to believe those are average thou...guess I need to look into Pewters more.

I suppose if I had to choose between the two, I'd keep the first.
