You're repeating something that's incorrect. . . A PEW rat is not necessarily albino.
An albino can be, underneath the albino, any colour, but it is still an albino. It doesn't matter what colours it carries.

I think the main problem here, is your misuse of terminology.

Throw the white one to a snake then it can be a POO instead of a PEA or a PEW
I personally like color and head markings in all my breeders so I don't ever keep totally white rats I would say keep the one that gets to your hand first and let fate choose

Is everyone is debating now??? lol Thanks for all the replies
After reading replies and doing some research online it's hard to figure it all out! Guess I will just try to keep cool colors before the snakes hug them.
The only solid white I have left is a female that should be pregnant by the brown hood since I seen them getting frisky over the past few days.
Hoping to find some females at the Hamburg show this weekend.
I have a tank waiting for the female when she starts to bulge or 14 days or so. Can you place two females say one that is nursing and one that is about to drop in the same tank or even two nursing moms?

As long as they have been in together for a while. If you take two females that are "strangers" and pop them in together, you might have fighting between the females. If they've been in together and made "buddies" they will usually do just fine raising the litters together. Just watch out for one female hoarding the babies and if a problem does occur, split the females up.
That being said, I prefer one nursing female per tub. They seem to do a better job.
