Honestly, if you want to save money, it will be worth going.
You seem to be hesitant to go places alone by yourself. I'm sure you'll be able to find a friend or convince a family member to go with you if its far enough in advance. If not, just think about all of the money you'll be saving (even with including the $5 entrance fee) and maybe that'll make you want to go.

Hah. I want to go regardless. I think it's neat looking at all the reptiles. I'm hesitant on going since I've only been to the place once (I wasn't driving), and they're doing major construction all over the city so everything is screwed up.

I'm going to look at rodentpro myself. I need to buy in bulk because buying from Petco or Petsmart is still way more expensive in the long run. My rat snake eats 2 hoppers a week. So for a full year that's 96 hoppers. Lets call it 100 just to make it easy. My redtail eats 1 medium rat every 2 weeks. To that's 24, and we'll call it 30 just to be even and easy again.
So if I order all that, it will cost me roughly $65 before shipping. Let's call shipping $50. For $115 I have rats and mice for a year. Idk about you guys, but that works for me. $9.50 a month for mice and rats, I'm in! LOL

I don't know what city you live in, but they're doing construction on one of the main intersections in my city and its the worst (streetcar rail replacing or something). There's been soooo much construction lately. It does suck a lot.
Is there any public transit that you could use in order to get there? That might be a lot easier, if its in the core of a city.
Who cares if you've only been to the place once! Maybe you can think of it as an adventure? (haha). I guess I just like going to places by myself, so I can spend as much or as little time as I want, and look at whatever I want, etc etc.
(Also, so I don't have to buy things for people - which happened last time! Hah!)
