And then when it seems like it has a problem, their answer is to freeze it??!!?? You'd think that big chain store would have like a retained vet or something, but then they might not make as much money....

its not a big chain store its a mom and pop store.i posted in another thred about the overload of mites on there baby snakes and resptory issues they have.tanks and so on how nasty they were.i got on them about the mites and even told them how to clean and take care of them.i was so pissed i even grabed the 10 gal tank with baby mite infested snakes and took it to there back room and started showing them what and how to take care of mites and prevent it again.

Update:::
SHE hasnt passed any eggs since last post when i got the one out. waiting to see if another will breach but its still a good 5-6 inches from her tail.cant find a vet that does reptiles figures.so im in this for the long hual.im her doc now.she still doing good and alert.i soaked her and try to help get the egg to move down but no luck she just clenches up.got all her shed of so she can be alittle comfortable.so ill just have to wait and watch her some more.im sure big breeders go through this type stuff and know the tricks.alot of them probily dont use a vet but have access to meds they need.as do i.so ill just have to learn as i go like i did last night with the bound egg. but im still looking for a vet and asking the other vets if they can point me in the right direction.

Hi,

Be very carefull when trying to do the same as shown in those videos - you could easily break ribs or rupture the snake internally or at the vent.

I think that the thing that might help her the most is to give her a few hours totally alone in a setting that is dark and private. She may relax a little and start working those other eggs down herself. Right now she's got to be majorly stressed.
ETA--oh, good, a vet list!

How is she doing? I'm glad she got one out. But there's still more to go. I hope she is ok!
