Does any one think I should check my bp for signs of burning? would i be able to see it this early? (its only been 2 days). It didn't look like he even really padded down the substrate.

I still need to invest in a thermostat, currently i have a dimmer switch hooked up to my UTH, and I use that in conjunction with my temp probe to keep the heat right and double check it with a temp gun. Not the preferred route but it works.

I live in toronto, and I'd prefer to get it tomorrow, as I have unplugged his UTH. Does this seem suitable? the store is close by :

I use the Ranco's. I know they are a turn on and off thermostat, but I have quite a few of them and they have never failed. Been pretty satisfied with them for the years I have used them, which has caused me to continue to buy them.
