I do apologize for being so harsh.

The natural predation of the weak and infirm has caused many creatures to evolve to hide their injuries and illnesses. This is also why I always advise a vet trip when someone "thinks" something is wrong with their animal, for it to be bad enough for us to see it, it is probably already in dire condition.

People need to understand that owning an animal means you are completely responsible for their well being. This means that they need to be able to provide vet care for these animals, not just when things are at the worst and the animal is on its death bed, but regular checks and tests done, to provide the best environment for them to thrive in, not just survive.

Our hobby, our little and large friends are under constant fire in the public eye. How we care for them not only affects them and us, but everyone who has and cares for reptiles.
The attitude of disposable pet needs to end (with any animal).
