Gator farms - how do you feel about them?

I think it's a good thing for the above mentioned reasons, however I hate alligator meat it's stringy and nasty. The hide is nice though.

I love gator and maybe the more farms there are the price will go down. I pay almost 8 dollars a pound for it. Can't find rattlesnake here wish I could.
Many countries eat different things, a restaurant in South America sells deep fried Gerbil, in fact you go and pick it out from a cage in the back. Saw that on the travel channel.

are you sure it was gerbil and not guinea pig. it very could have been gerbil but i know that guinea pig is very popular in countries like Peru.
