"how many of you have ordered a specific gender and received the wrong gender than what you asked for"?

i never ordered online but with my luck im sure id get sent the wrong one and have to go through the whole shipping back and waiting for my correct order.tshhh

thats what I mean how often has it happened that someone orders a male ball python to find out its a female or vice-versa.

I have never got the wrong sex in the mail and I have ordered several online, But at a show when I bought my male fire they gave me a female by mistake. As soon as I got to my truck I popped it and found the mistake took the girl back in. They had to ship me a male because they didn't have any more with them at the show. I ended up buying both of them anyways. This was from a big well known breeder too so anyone can make mistakes.
Your best bet if sexing adults is to get probes and learn to use them and also learn to pop for juveniles I always try to pop adults first too but if it doesn't pop male then I probe them to be sure. Never take anybody's word on sex no matter how well know always check for your self asap this will save you years of raising the wrong sex up to size.

Thanks. That was my dwarf caiman I ended up trading it for 2 BP's, a super pastel female and a normal female. He was very mean and would bite every chance he got, also he was rapidly out growing the 55 gallon tank he was in so I either needed to upgrade the enclosure size or trade for something I had the correct enclosure for.
