Those are better pics. I may have to convince the wife to get one. Decided to hold off though on the other five until after we get back from AZ at the end of the month.

The A. Metallica is one of her favorites too.

If I wasn't such a chicken, my choice would be a green bottle blue. I think they are the most beautiful T's out there! I'd have to devise a completely no contact way of feeding and watering it though.. Plus I'd probably be wearing safety goggles too lmao!!

Re: New T's and some updates...

The GBB is fast and not a good choice for a first T. They are also a little agro. Any Gramatosa (sp) is a good choice. Our Chaco is a sweet heart.

I second Nektu on this one, GBB isn't something that's usually very chilled out and are pretty quick to shoot hairs. I LOVE LOVE LOVE Chaco Golden Knees (Grammostola Pulchripes) but they, like almost all Grammostola, tend to get some pretty severe mood swings from time to time. Another group you could look at are the Brachypelma. They've got some pretty stunning lookers, and they tend to be pretty docile as well (though of course there are always exceptions) and aren't hard to find.

Agreed on the Brachy. The fire leg is fast, the red rump we have is moody, but the smithi is awesome.

That A. avicularia is ridiculously cute. Little red toes, spotted back, fuzzy little legs.... Cute is the only word I can use.
