    Yeah,

Be as rich as Croesus and be willing to give lots of it ( and I'm talking thousands at certain levels ) to people merely to introduce you to the right people at every step of the chain and then hand over a small fortune to the actual exporter to make it worth their time to talk to you.

Then of course you need to sort out all the cites, import taxes and vet checks etc.

    Or just go through someone.

Unless you are looking for the next big morph and are willing to pay silly money for it it isn't worth it.

Since it's from a very under developed part of Africa, you can be 100% sure that you're in for big money on bribes alone, before you even see one!

It'll probably be easier to go through an agent or importer, but even then it seems like a waste of money. Is there any particular reason you want a wild caught one? If you just want a new bloodline, maybe contact a South African breeder and ask about getting a captive bred animal from here, it'll probably be cheaper and you won't have to bribe anyone, it's also better for the environment.

What he said - and be willing to purchase lots of hundreds of them in order to even be worth their time.
