    6QT questions

So im working on my rack right now, using 28qt tubs for my small adults and sub adults, and i am using 6qt's for my babies. Im going to be running heat tape, how should i go about keeping a warm and cool side of such a small enclosure? will simply putting the edge of the tub over the heat tape and having the rest off it be enough? i can see in the 28's how a wider area will dispurse more heat and create a cool and warm side but what about with a 6qt?

heres a picture of the TEMPORARY set up. i left all my saws at work so i couldnt finish lol. and the lights are only there until i get the heat tape. 2 tubs are missing. couldnt fit them in yet.

    comments welcomed!

In my hatchling rack it has the 3inch flexwatt and the 6qt tub sets on it at the back of the rack.So the back part is the hotside and the front of the tub is the cool side .I am not sure on the 28qt tubs if the 3inch would be enough to heat it properly since i dont have that size tubs.
