I catch mine at it every now and again but for one of my males he sometimes will do something super funny and I think it is quite cool. After I have had him out for a while and I put him back in he will often (2 of 5 times) will stop while I am holding him and drink as he makes his way past the water bowl. For me it is just about the coolest thing I have experienced.

I'm just worried about her cause I pay attention to her water levels and they don't drop. And never see her drink. Is their such issues as BP's being dehydrated? How could I fix it if she is? How would I know? And would she stop drinking during shed ?
