9 eggs from a 1700 gram first time breeder is an awesome clutch all by it self. How much did the clutch weigh?

Nice odds on the clutch.
That is one heck of a good looking fire male there. You should have some purty babies.

We were quite impressed too, the female was a slow grower and is an 07 but she blew us away with such a large clutch.
The eggs weighed 865 grams if I remember correctly.

Thanks!
I'm pretty sure there is both fire and yb's, I'm just not sure of the exact count of each.
We had to leave after the cutting and I won't be back until they after they come out as I'm in the middle of a move.
Pictures when they are out for sure

Congrats on such a nice clutch! Can't wait to see pics. Why do you no longer have the fire male?

Thank you.
I learned a hard lesson about breeding small males.
He started breeding at about 550 grams and went off feed and dropped to 450 grams before I pulled him from breeding.
He took a month to get back on feed and then I made the stupid mistake of letting him breed again.
He went off feed again and never ate again.
I was going to start force feeding him the day he passed
RIP Flicker
