PVC sheets
Hello, I was wondering where you can buy the sheets of PVC for building a homemade rack? I have made mine out of melamine and would like to try the PVC. Also, does anyone prefer one over the other and does the PVC have any advantages? Thanks!

LOL, to put it bluntly that answer sucks. Um...where can I get plutonium......check your local radioactive material supplier. I mean clearly the local plastics supplier might have pvc sheets given that pvc is a plastic. The question is, what exactly is a local plastics supplier. Like do I google "plastics supplier?" I tried that and got a bunch of weird results. Some of which might be a place to get PVC sheets but nothing that stood out. I certainly don't mean to say that a search engine can't get results but "Check your local plastics supplier" is about as useful as saying "Check places that sell pvc sheets"

Lightweight, waterproof, easy to clean, doesn't mold or swell or harbor bacteria as easily... XPVC is better across the board in every regard if you can afford the price difference. Search for my DIY XPVC thread. I had to call a bunch of places to track it down. Plastics manufacture in google is a great start. There are a few national suppliers but most are regional and vary a lot. Good luck!

B
