Its extra plywood i had in the shop so i ripped it to the sizee i needed and used it like that

cool thanks....it does look very clean and very stable, what i used for my racks was 2x2s and all the time i put into them i don't feel like they're stable enough even with braces put on them so I've been looking on the forums lately to get newer ideas and implement them on my racks or maybe just make new ones.

2x2's are square, thats why its unstable. I ripped my wood 3" for the moset part and 6" for the back ones. I put the back ones and side ones together to form an "L" thats where the strength comes in. Using plywood is also SO much lighter and with it all being screwed together it is very strong.

thanks, ill take that into consideration on my next build...i did like the 2x2s due to having to use casters for it and yes they do roll quite well but as stated before...feels flimsy when i do have to move them to clean the back areas. maybe attach your model to a furniture dolly type contraption for movement...ill have to see about that.
