I went out to buy a tank and GOOD LORD they were all expensive, so I made a rack for her for a temporary enclosure until my boyfriend builds the vivarium this weekend.

I don't mean to be a downer because I'm sure she's great, but have you met her in person yet? Not all snakes are the same so she could be very different from the one at the shelter. Congrats on getting her and I hope she turns out to be what you were hoping for. RTBs are great!
