Day 4
Day 4
Today we left the little one alone since last night she ate. We figured it would help keep the meal down if we left it by itself for a day. However due to not wanting the mites to get worse since they are currently almost non existant, we made the decision to clean its tank. thus... I got to hold it.
Being 10:30 at night, the little ones pupils were so large the entire eyes looked black, and clearly it felt like being left alone... and by that I mean it looked like it wanted to have me for dinner.
Fortunately i got the snake out of the enclosure without being bitten, however it tried to strike at april when she stood up. Neither of us expected it, but tonight went smoothly, we built a second smaller tub and sprayed it with PAM and are letting it air dry tonight, we'll move its location tomorrow and then pam the other enclosure, and then when its air dried, switch it back to that one. this way mites won't stand a chance and the problem is taken care of in a reasonably easy fashion.

My boy terrifies me around that time. I just sit on the opposite side of the glass and watch him size me up. Congrats on not getting tagged.

Day 15
Day 15
Sorry I haven't posted in a little while. I got home from work late one night and its take needed to be cleaned to help prevent mites, The little one looks clean of mites, but i'll let the vet get the final word on that one.
Tomorrow is the next treatment date for the internal parasites ailing the little one.
His health seems to be moving in positive direction as stated by another member already. Acting like an aggressive GTP under stress should =D
Here's a video of me being particularly chicken that night... and April decided to film it for you guys!
Next video i'll have her in my hand!
