As far as feeding these guys, do you do the zombie dance with them, or can you leave the rats in the enclosure overnight? F/T of course.

I don't usually have to dangle for more than 5 seconds before it gets snatched. You can try that, if uninterested leave it in there...chances are it'll be gone by morning lol.

Depends on the snake. Most boas tend to prefer prey that seems "alive" as they're a lot more reluctant to take carrion than ball pythons, but sometimes they'll take it if you just leave it there. My girl was used to being fed live before I got her, so I did the zombie dance with her for a while, and now she's a F/T machine - I wouldn't have time to do the dance if I wanted to

Yeah, 7 -10 days is good, because boas also have a much slower metabolism than BP's, so they can get overweight very easily. I'm feeding every 7 days for my girl, she's doing fine on it. I'm told that for older boas though most people feed every 10 days.

Im having that problem with my RTB, but I just go in touch her a few times, let her strike and then grab her. She's usually fine by that time and doesn't care about biting anymore. I feed every 7 days, but my buddy I got her from, he feeds all of his snakes every 3 days a small meal instead of feeding a large meal every 7-10 days so I also think she's adjusting from that feeding schedule.

Yup, like most boas, they don't tend to be too discerning with what they eat.
