There usually are not complications with manx rats being mothers. Nothing more than a normal rat would have anyways.

Just watch out for spinal problems in the first few gens, if nothing pops up you should be fine to carry on breeding them! You just always want to be sure with a new line of manx.

Dwarf manx would be interesting. But again, just look out for spinal problems, especially when crossing those 2 genes.

If he gets a dwarf manx 1st/2nd, and it has no problems, then there should be smooth sailing! The problems usually show up in the first gen or so.

I don't know that I've seen a dwarf manx before!
I'm getting some hairless manx carriers soon, and i've seen a hairless manx (one named wombat, LOL) but never a dwarf hairless!

I've made dwarf double rex hairless but no true hairless, tiny little pig like rats, haha.
I agree, a Dwarf Harley would be pretty sweet too, lots of stuff i have yet to see.
I'm breeding 3 standard size agouti rex females that carry dwarf, blue, siamese, pink, red and ruby eye recessive traits, and high white recessive traits to my Dwarf Siamese black eyed standard coat male.
Should be some smokin babies from this group, hopefully a fawn dwarf or two

I like BEW's a lot which is why I just snagged two Black eyed White girls from my breeding partner, he kept the only solid white female.

A first for us ~ Burmese Manx, has a tiny nub unlike the other manx's we've produced, maybe it was an injury? breeding her will tell the story.
