Releasing animals that are wild caught and kept captive can be extremely dangerous for the ecosystem where they are released. The released animals have the potential to harbor pests and disease that could seriously hurt the remaining native ecosystem.Furthermore, the animals may lose the ability to live as a wild animal and quickly be killed predators etc. This has absolutely nothing to do with culture and everything to do with protecting the native ecosystem that is left in your country. People release Burmese in the wild in the USA as well, and it has nothing to do with culture to say that is okay---in fact is actually a lot more stupid. This is about science, and nothing else.
Finally, you come here tugging on peoples heart strings about loving ball pythons and such, while snakes clearly seem to be nothing more than a business for you. Why would you drop off snakes into the wild if you actually had any kind of love for them. Its all about you and nothing else.

I have no fear of losing my life - if I have to save a koala or a crocodile or a kangaroo or a snake, mate, I will save it.

Not to press any buttons here, but this argument about him releasing wild Burns back into their habitat has already come and gone in a previous thread of his. It's quite unnecessary to spark a fire that has already been extinguished. Just my opinion, of course.

Re: Need help from everybody here
Man. Some people are just jerks. Sorry Psycho.
The man lives in the native habitat of burms. There are no invasive pests in his house that are not already in the habitat. I don't know how many times I had caught garter snakes when I was a child, kept them for awhile, and then released them into my backyard. I will encourage my kids to do the same.
Even now, if I find a wild/native animal that has been injured. I will try to help it, and release it after it has healed. I can tell you, I haven't killed all the wildlife around my country home yet.
I don't understand what you think will happen? I'm fairly certain since we can't change our snakes natural hunting instinct, I really doubt they would have any trouble surviving in the wild.
