Jaxx The Ball Python

This is my first reptilian pet. A Yellow Belly Ball Python named Jaxx. She is about 2'3" long and haven't had a chance to weight her yet. I have had her about 2 weeks now. If for any reason anyone suspects she is not a Yellow Belly, please say so, as I am not positive. Thank you.

She's super nice looking, I love the tail pattern on the last 1/3 of her! Was she sold to you as a yellow belly? From the pictures she looks like a nice normal, but a belly shot can clear everything up for sure.

She was sold to me as a Ball Python, that's it. I had assumed she was a Yellow Belly from what I have been researching online. I will get a nice pic of her underbelly the next time I take her out. Thanks.

By the way, she is in the blue (~middle stage of her shed cycle). I like to leave my snakes alone during their shed cycle, unless I know they will eat for me (some don't).

Yes I finally got to notice the blue eyes tonight and set my mind at ease, because she has been spending a lot of time in the water lately and was worried she may have had mites. But I did a lot of researching and waited on treating her as I was pretty sure she was starting her shed. Thanks.

Sometimes it is not what it seems! She could be warm, she could be dry, or she could just feel like going for a swim Likely, she is dry and preparing for the shed in the next few days.

What is the humidity like in her enclosure?

I was keeping it between 52-54 but now that I saw her eyes I have bumped it up to 70-72.

Thanks all. Glad to be here. Learning a lot already. As soon as I found out I was getting a Ball Python I started furiously soaking up everything I could from the net. Want to be able to provide her with a healthy happy home.
