After they hatch in captivity in Ghana they are sent as whole sale purchases. I haven't looked much into it, so I could be wrong about how they do it in Ghana. He typically auctions them off in groups, most likely because there's nothing special about them so he has no need for them. Lol. Great auctions though, I love watching them!
EDIT: Yes, you should just stick to morphs. Imported "fancy" or "dinker" BPs are a gamble with a very low percentage of actually hitting anything genetic.
