What Kind of Music do You like?

I like metal, rock, rap.... absolutely can not stand "pop" music.

Pantera is my fav metal band of all time.

I like Slayer, Iron Maiden, Nirvana, Metallica, Sublime, Bob Marley (who doesn't like Bob Marley?), The Beatles... not really very picky if there is some sort of talent that I can appreciate.

I grew up with Eminem, Dre, Ice Cube (older stuff mostly), etc.. but I've recently been introduced to Vinnie Paz (Jedi Mind Tricks, Heavy Metal Kings) and I can't get enough of him. Love his voice and his lyrics. Really started to listen to underground anti-political stuff in the past couple of months. Block McCloud is another I like. Check out "End of Days" Vinnie Paz ft. Block McCloud if you think you might like to hear something like that - awesome song.

End Of Days is an amazing song. Check out "Channel Zero" by Canibus if you like those types of songs. SO MUCH INFO to be learnt in those two songs alone, its crazy.

Once youve started listening to Vinnie Paz, and you can enjoy that type of music.. well its not long until you move on to Canibus LOL

For me I started listening to music in this order:

Tupac
Big L
Spice 1
Vinnie Paz
K-Reno
(some) Eminem
Canibus

MEANINGFUL Hip Hop is great to listen to, because if you are interested in lyrically talented artists, you can learn SO MUCH from just listening to their music.

Like I said, if you listen to ANY Canibus or Vinnie Paz/ K-Reno, you will learn things that you didnt even know existed

Glad to see somebody else interested in Hip Hop.
