If I were you, I'd look for multi-gene animals (a lemon blast, for instance, instead of a pastel) to add to your collection rather than single-gene animals to increase the odds of producing even more desirable offspring.
Ultimately, I think you should ask yourself what morphs YOU want to work towards and get the "ingredients" to start those projects. Everyone has their favorites, of course, and you could certainly draw ideas from the rest but unless you're working with your favorites it's not going to be a very rewarding hobby and you may find yourself losing interest all together.
