    The easiest way is to put the TINIEST dab of mineral oil over each eye....you can just briefly, gently rub it over the eye cap. I always give it about 8-12 hours, then you can take a warm, wet (not dripping) washrag and let her crawl through it as you hold it. The eyecaps should just come right off. Mineral oil will not hurt your snake. I know people who use it for bad sheds on the body......that's a no-no. It will make your snake shed one scale at a time and makes a HUGE mess. But for eyecaps, it's the bomb. Good luck
