The smell is a LOT more tolerable, and it takes longer for it to become a problem. I have 300+ in my garage and it takes about 2 weeks after cleaning for the smell to become noticeable. Honestly the stinkiest thing in the garage is the lab block.

I use cedar bedding. Dunno if that is a factor or not.
