    Although inbreeding is sometimes necessary, it is always better to outcross and keep the genes diversified.

    With those three animals, you'll be working on some long term projects. Along the way, I'd suggest trading out some of your offspring for similar ones, and you can diversify your stock and maybe introduce other desirable traits. Even better, trade out a few of them for one multiple gene animal and get a jump start on the more advanced projects.
