Heck yeah, there is a part in my yard where you can scoop earthworms up by the hand full (without even digging) during the summer.

Cool snakes to find when non snake people are around cause they never bite.
One of the strangest things I've noticed lately is that all the non-snake peeps are finding the cool stuff. :/ Well, atleast they're bringing them to me now. I bet people probably mistake the babies for worms.

That is the best part about living in a rural area, you get to find all sorts of cool stuff. My neighbor found an old 6 ft. rattler, my Dad has the odd luck of constantly finding Indigos (big ones too.) The most common snake around here though are adult yellow rat snakes.
I have a few spots I go to every now & then to catch these. There usually very secretive hiding underground but I catch em all the time under rocks & wood.
