    soaking female = follicle building?

My snakes never soak! So when I saw my het female curled up in the water bowl this morning, I freaked out for a second because I thought she'd drowned.

I just handled my her a couple nights ago moving her from the breeding tubs, and she wasn't going into shed then. I thought she was glowing, and I think I felt 5 follicles when I put her back in the tank?

So is this just bowl-wrapping plus? Is this a good sign? TELL ME IT'S A GOOD SIGN, my piebald female doesn't have any follicles, so I want SOMETHING this season!

It's a good sign - it's always good when I check on the snakes and see the girls soaking this time of year.

2 of mine just got out of their water bowls after soaking for about two weeks. One has shed and is on the hot spot and the other is in deep blue. My other female just crawled in her bowl last night. So I agree that it is indeed a good thing. Good luck.

How about when she soaks for extended periods of time but has never had her cherry popped? Plus shes under 1000 grams. Yes, I'm sure there are no mites and yes, there are three males in the same rack but different tubs.
