Humidity help?
I'm in the process of transferring my three ball pythons into better enclosures than they have right now (fish tanks with mesh tops). I got a new humidity gauge to try out 'cause my old one didn't seem to be accurate.
I let it sit out overnight in the living room, but not in the enclosure. When I woke up this morning, it said the humidity in the living room is 65%. Does that mean I don't need to do anything in their enclosures except for shedding time?
Sorry for the noobish question, I just want to make sure I'm doing the best for my babies

Those stick on humidity guages are not accurate for an enclosure. If you are going to keep them in the glass tank you should cover at least half of the top mesh screen with plexiglass or aluminum foil, or something to retain the humidity. I usually mist mine at least 2 times a day, and also provide a humidity hide in the tank. You will have a tough time but if you do all that they should be okay.

I did the foil/duct tape thing that's stickied in the caging forum. I mist them 2-3 times per day.
Should I return the gauge and get a digital one?

Digital is always a better option than the analog...
